Do you see yourself the way God sees you in Christ?  Do you have confidence when it comes to your relationship with God?  Do you actually believe that God loves you like his own child?  Unfortunately, many Christians do not live in the reality of who they are in Christ.  We look inside to try to comfort ourselves or we try to do more "Christian things" so that we can feel better, but it never works. 

Our confidence is not in us, its outside of us.  Our hope is not what we do, its what Jesus has already done for us.  Beginning September 12, we are starting a new sermon series called Cross Words.  Every week we will explore the depths of words that are true about us because of the Cross.
